Our First Family Vacation

So, not really a vacation as much as a few nights out of Raleigh....but it's still exciting. Going out of town and staying in a hotel is much more fun being married. So Josh wanted beach and Allison wanted history - so we landed in Charleston.

Who knows? We were excited about a King size bed though! Big change from our little Full.

Yay, the beach, the beach! It was weird though... there were hardly any waves! And then a cargo ship went right by (like.... right by....)

Down at the Battery on our way out of town.... we were really tired and Allison's feet hurt.

And here's part of the reason why her feet hurt. On Friday night, we ran to see some fireworks out the window down the hall and Josh noticed this bruise on her foot and it's all swollen. Nothing fell on it, no stepping on it... no idea where this came from??? Stupid feet.

1. Of course we would find the one little coffee shop that is Turkish!! We were happily surprised when we walked in!!! 2. Only Josh and Daniel will understand.
