I don’t know who comes up with these, but seeing as we update our blog so infrequently, I figured this was better than nothing :) and I even added my own commentary!

4. Visited Hawaii (if my sister and her family would move there i would have an excuse!)

10. Sang a solo (i have refrained for the sanity of those around me)

12. Visited Paris (and want to go back when i know a language other than english)

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch (origami? maybe?)
15. Adopted a child
16. Had food poisoning (indian food in DC... at least i think it was)
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
18. Grown your own vegetables
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France (it's so tiny)
20. Slept on an overnight train (not yet, but i have a feeling i will when we finally get overseas)
21. Had a pillow fight
22. Hitch hiked
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill (doesn’t everyone do this in college?)
24. Built a snow fort
25. Held a lamb
26. Gone skinny dipping
27. Run a Marathon (i want to train for one.... but i think my feet are too bad)
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice (it's on the list for when we get overseas)
29. Seen a total eclipse (of the heaaaaartttttt... haha, no really. i think i did in 4th grade?)
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset
31. Hit a home run
32. Been on a cruise (josh and i agreed we'd go crazy stuck on a boat)
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors (what? do my ancestors of 2 generations ago count?)
35. Seen an Amish community (thank you, kiwa)
36. Taught yourself a new language (the fact that i know a few words counts..... for this)
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person (another on the list)
39. Gone rock climbing (j.hall's influence.... i can even belay! how do you spell that?)
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David (I think so – is it at the Louvre?)
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt (oh yes. daily for a few months...and i really, really want to go back!!!)
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant (does giving them a gift card count?
44. Visited Africa (josh is determined to take me)
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight
46. Been transported in an ambulance

48. Gone deep sea fishing (fish=gross)
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person (again, on the list)

52. Kissed in the rain (i think so? i mean, the weather on our honeymoon was insane.... so i'm sure we did)

59. Visited Russia (2014 winter olympics are there.... and if we can manage i think we'll go)

63. Got flowers for no reason (i kinda told my husband i'd get mad at him if he bought me flowers..... they're expensive and they die in like 2 days. i'd rather have chocolate or shoes)

ReplyDeleteThought about doing the list myself, but...decided my life hasn't been interesting enough and I haven't done enough of these. Besides, people would probably rather see pictures of Lane's first airplane ride, don't you think?
ooooh ok - i know i saw some famous statue there.... but i don't remember, i was 13 and totally didn't have the appreciation i do now for things like that.
