Beautiful Feet: josh won the game!!

so, a few of josh's friends from k4c, the saturday kids league he coaches for, decided to put together an indoor team for intramurals at school and of course josh was thrilled to get to play! he only missed one game, not to be compared with others on the team who mussed most of them. i think they had maybe one game where there were enough players to have a sub. crazy. they even played 2 or 3 games with one less player, and still managed to win all their games :) woo hoo! so the final was last thursday and, as usual, they played a man down. the other team in the final was AWFUL! they pretty much just kept 3 players in front of their goal and then the others just frantically ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. it was pathetic. i'm just glad no one got hurt!! towards the end, josh would just let them get the ball out of tough spots in the gym b/c he was scared if he fought for it he'd end up getting knocked out. insane. chaos. so, despite the 500 close shots josh's team had, it still ended up in over time, and then a shoot out. yep. and the goal is all of 3 feet wide.... fun times. sooo every goal was blocked until josh was the last one on his team to go and he scored!!! so, thanks to josh, they won :) i think he was shocked that it went in, but it was a great shot! woo hoo! and now he has a nifty t shirt to show for it.
