Disclaimer: i totally didn't clean before i took these.... so, ignore the mess in some places.
our cute little kitchen.... with all the fun cookie making supplies on the counter :) our fridge is just outside the picture to the right.
my awesome canisters for flour, wheat flour and sugar
the empty side of our salon.... it should have couches soon!!! hopefully this weekend :)
our awesome drexel heritage table that we got in the used furniture district.... so random and super inexpensive, for which we are grateful!
the bathroom... what you can't see is that the toilet actually sits on a step up. yep, it's a throne. and right now, our dryer won't stack with our washer, which is why it's sticking out, but we're working on it.
this will eventually be an office when we have time to save and buy a desk... for now it's got our dolap's (read: wardrobe/closet) and will be our workout room. josh is sanding the dolap's and then refinishing them, which is why it's in the middle of the room :)
maybe a reading nook? right now it's empty space..... but we like it.
and there are a few more, but we'll do those tomorrow because blogger won't let me rotate the pictures. bummer.
so, quick tour. and another small tidbit of information, just for the shock and awe affect.... i made broccoli and cheese soup tonight and enjoyed it. miracle, i know.
It's so good to see you are doing well. We miss you guys and think of you often. I love your cute apartment. We will be needing a picture of the "throne" in the bathroom. It's just something that can't be explained. Glad you are doing well. Thanks for the update. A. Lewis
ReplyDeleteYay! Looks good!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of cheese did you use for your soup? I've thought about making broccoli cheese soup before but with no cheddar...well, I didn't think it'd be all that good.
Love it!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe just used the regular kaşar.... just shredded it and put it in. BUT, neither of us had ever actually had broccoli and cheddar soup in the states, so we don't know the difference :)
