one score and 5 years ago (almost)

sorry for the delay with the biking pictures - my husband is a slacker :) i'll make sure he posts those this weekend.

anyway...

it's almost september!!! how did that happen? with september's arrival comes my birthday.... and adam's, and kimberly's, and schizzy's, and cj's, and morgan's, and denise's, and dad's (oh, and sophies's is at the end of august, mom's at the beginning of october)....

need i go on? it's a pretty packed time of the year! my favorite gift so far isn't really a gift, well... it could be a gift from the Lord, but yeah... so, next week, just in time for my birthday, we're having a cold front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh i've never been so excited about the weather! it's supposed to be 60ish at night and low 80s during the day. glorious! then, when the weather starts heating back up, josh and i will be in Kansas (eh, only for 4 days... but we'll be there). i love cooler weather.

back to the bagillion birthdays this month. a few years ago, once morgan decided that, contrary to her first impression, we might actually be friends, we started having our joint birthday extravaganza with all our friends :) then we added Kimberly, and then Schizzy. So, tonight we're all going to dinner and who knows what. I'm pretty excited, because I think of all the people coming, i've seen 2 of them since josh and i got married. i really like this time of year, not just because it's my birthday, but more because it's our yearly excuse to gather all the people we can and hang out. and really, we only do this once a year (sad).

hm, enough about that. this has been a pretty chill week. just work, gym, biking, the usual. no pictures. no stories. just boring.
